Minutes after I wrote my last post, I thought, "This just isn't fair, Taco Temple was my number one favorite until I found Chapala market," so I must give them credit.
Just down the road from Chapala Market, this place gives you absolute value. The portions are huge, and they are fresh.....and healthy.
The only thing that got me was when I was driving home from the Tulare in the Central Valley and I took a 45 minute detour just to eat here on my way to my destination, Grover Beach. The thing is, I was there for lunch. Ordered an awesome fish burrito and it was delicious....but....but...they charged me two dollars for chips. The waiter said, "The dinner chips are free, we charge for chips at lunch."
It just doesn't make sense.
