A few posts ago, I blogged about the reliability of Starbucks vs. the Mom and pop's of Pismo Beach. So i got a coffee this morning from Java Shack in Pismo Beach on Price Street, 773-9410.
The reason they are closed on a Sunday in the Summer is because one of the owners had knee problems and is on crutches.
So though Starbucks is still "always open," we must have patience with the mom and pop's to keep their doors open.
